Taste of Marek Niit

Okay, so I was listening to Jay Zs new album. and I give it to the opener actually the first two tracks on this album were alright, and from then on... Why is it that everytime I put on this album I want to go back and listen to some of his older stuff, or not his stuff at all. It it just disappointing. That Jay Z who I know claims to be in a different mind state a different stage of his life being a father and now wealther than anyone else in the *game* is not really  a factor any more. Yes I could say he will always be in my good book, but when I listen to his newer stuff I would rather turn the radio on.

These beats are so easy on the ear.  Sort of like trap style snares and kicks but the mellow melodies and groovy basslines is what brings it home. I come from listening Tribe, Roots, Juggaknots, Kidz In The Hall, Classified, YoungBloodz, T.I., Kanye.. I feel like Im hanging out in a room with large leather sofas and dust that clarifies the sunrays coming thru the window. The carpet is definitely patterned seventies style and colorful. Just like the ferns in the corner collecting the dust that stays away from the light. Im not too into the lyrics, even though they do make me think what he is sayin, talking about sending text messages on the floor. A fllower in her hair starts twerling and a neon green beam finds its way in my eyes. When vanilla rainbows comes on I wake up from the dream. I am in a classroom studying funky guitar and black history. Hah
