    Since this year has only a couple thousand of breaths left , I wish you all a happy holiday season and a happy new year. For me this upcoming year will be an end of my collegiate experience, and time to explore new grounds that the world has to offer. Meaning I will run for myself from now on. Also excited about the future in terms of going to the Indoor World, Outdoor Europeans and other track related anticipations. Wish Megan will compete for the Nationals and Give that 14 a hell of a battle.  I will combine a couple of posts in this one. I will put up my yearly awards for best movie and best album song et cetera in addition to my album photos from this year. Enjoy. Music 2013 Lists. In no particular order. Bonobo - The North Borders ALBUM, probably the most listened album for me this year Daft Punk - Random Access Memories Album, probably the most nostalgic album of the year Hip hop trio of albums, that were an awesome listen this year Flatbush Zombies

Cocaine for breakfast, and LEMMONs for dinner.  Common denominator is to hum a tune and beat your chest to a syncopated rhythm. This story was too much about trying to impress the audience than actually making it a movie.  Too many bits which didn't add on to the whole story. It was a big mess. Without Matthew Mcconaughey, a twisted telephone line and a collage of vintage Scorcese montages this one would have been a total disaster. Now just a sore thumb in the prefect collection of movies that these stars have been apart of.

Went to see Gravity It's a must see. Even though it's not entertaining as I thought It would be, it is still a must. Some of these visuals and camerawork will rock your socks off. Also dig the soundtrack. Well done overall. Just the plot was not interesting. And I'm glad that George Clooney knows exactly where the vodka bottle is on the Russian space shuttle. Good for him! and You have to see it in a good 3D theater.

Kings of Summer made me feel good about myself. Rush made me feel like movies are back, RUSH is a must!

This movie is straight up Funny

Okay, so I was listening to Jay Zs new album. and I give it to the opener actually the first two tracks on this album were alright, and from then on... Why is it that everytime I put on this album I want to go back and listen to some of his older stuff, or not his stuff at all. It it just disappointing. That Jay Z who I know claims to be in a different mind state a different stage of his life being a father and now wealther than anyone else in the *game* is not really  a factor any more. Yes I could say he will always be in my good book, but when I listen to his newer stuff I would rather turn the radio on.

These beats are so easy on the ear.  Sort of like trap style snares and kicks but the mellow melodies and groovy basslines is what brings it home. I come from listening Tribe, Roots, Juggaknots, Kidz In The Hall, Classified, YoungBloodz, T.I., Kanye.. I feel like Im hanging out in a room with large leather sofas and dust that clarifies the sunrays coming thru the window. The carpet is definitely patterned seventies style and colorful. Just like the ferns in the corner collecting the dust that stays away from the light. Im not too into the lyrics, even though they do make me think what he is sayin, talking about sending text messages on the floor. A fllower in her hair starts twerling and a neon green beam finds its way in my eyes. When vanilla rainbows comes on I wake up from the dream. I am in a classroom studying funky guitar and black history. Hah
